The idea of Teacher’s Apple was developed by the Bozik family in Ashburn, Virginia. Debora, an experienced educator, analyst and mother who decided after many years in education and business that a niche needed to be filled for our children and teachers. Debora holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Clarion, Pennsylvania and has worked as both a teacher and director of education in Pennsylvania and Virginia. She also worked in the business environment for the past ten years in finance and accounting.
Steve and Angela played an important role in the design of the store. By utilizing the bright colors and characters that Angela recommended to the full-wall schoolhouse mural that Steve designed, they succeeded in providing an encouraging and enticing environment for learning.
Loudoun County is at the forefront of education and is continually growing at a rapid pace. The niche that needed to be filled was a store to provide the most quality driven educational supplies and resources to the area and to offer inspirational activities in an environment of learning.
